Kitchen Manager (m/f) – LOCATION – GUADELOUPE – FRENCH WEST INDIES - CARIBBEAN

Langley Resort Fort Royal Guadeloupe (215 rooms and bungalows), French West Indies, is looking for a Kitchen Manager. We are looking for a commitment of at least 2 years. Fluent English language skills are necessary and French is a big plus since this true paradise is part of France.

Objective 

We are looking for a dedicated kitchen manager. You are driven by working with a high and consistent quality, lead and inspire your colleges. Moreover, you need to be curious and have a personal interest in raw material, wine and dining. The food concept is a la carte lunches, and buffe in the evening. The buffe is served with a cold section, big fresh salad buffet and main served a la minute from show kitchen which ends up with dessert buffet and ice cream. The position is demanding a high presence on site during service hours is mandatory.

Requirements 

  • Experience from similar position
  • Good knowledge in English
  • Experience from leading a multicultural team
  • Proven experience as Head Chef or as Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant/hotel operation. (400 – 500 guests per day)
