ENTRY LEVEL POSITIONS

When hiring to entry level positions (such as servers and receptionists), previous experience 
is definitely a plus, but most important is your personality. We believe that the right person 
can be taught to do almost anything.

Many of our employees are enrolled to university programs but have decided to take a short 
break to gain some valuable industry experience by working for us. Others have completed their 
education are looking to get their careers started.

MANAGEMENT POSITIONS

Most of our managers and supervisors have several years of work experience from the industry. 
Many also have a university degree, often within Hospitality Management. Promotions within the 
company are encouraged and very common. Managers are, however, also recruited externally.

The hotel

Langley Resort Napoléon Bonaparte is a pompous resort in the picturesque village of Ile Rousse. It is located right by the beach, in the centre of town. Because of this, we believe it is the ideal getaway and starting point for exploring Corsica. The hotel contains of two main buildings with a total of 144 rooms and 400 guest as maximum.

The restaurant and bar

The restaurant at Napoléon Bonaparte serves international cuisine with local influences for breakfast and dinner. The pool bar serves lunch, as well as a wide range of drinks and simple meals/snacks. We strive to use local products as much as possible to reduce our impact on the environment.

Your role

We are looking for a dedicated hotel manager. You are driven by working with a high and consistent quality, lead and inspire your team and used to work in a multi culture environment. The position is very hands on and demands you to be a part of the daily operations. The restaurant and bar area are a big part of the operation, and a lot of time and energy must lie in getting the restaurant – and bar service level, presentation and efficiency optimized. If you have experience as a Restaurant Manager, that’s a big advantage. Also making sure Langley’s service concept is taken out and presented in its full in all departments of the hotel. You have excellent communication skills in English and French.

Langley Resort Fort Royal is a spacious resort located in Guadeloupe. It is situated along a dreamlike beach, just outside the charming town of Deshaies. The resort offers a broad range of services, activities, and excursions.

The restaurant at Fort Royal serves international cuisine with local influences for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The beach bar serves a wide range of drinks and simple meals/snacks. We strive to use local products as much as possible to reduce our impact on the environment.

The hotel consists of 215 rooms and has up to 550 guest as maximum capacity.

Your responsibilities:

  • Work with a set concept for pizza menu
  • Report to work on-time, as scheduled
  • Make and portion pizza dough
  • Prepare pizza toppings, sauces, cheese, etc.
  • Stretch, top, and cook pizzas for dinner service
  • Maintain a neat and tidy workstation
  • Perform other related duties as requested by management (inventory, stocking, etc.)
  • Ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stocking
  • Operating and maintaining the pizza section of the kitchen and creating a successful working environment within the kitchen
  • Ensure the kitchen and production areas are clean and maintained at highest safety standards
  • Schedule full-time; day/evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 years of Pizzaiolo experience in full-service restaurant kitchen

  • Manage that food storage units all meet standards and are consistently well-managed
  • Ensure the kitchen and production areas are clean and maintained at highest safety standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as pastry chef, baker, or relevant role
  • A passion for hospitality, baking, and the guest experience

Make memories for our youngest guests. As a Kids club leader, you ensure fun times even after skiing! Create adventures, movie nights and play full environments. Kids Club is for children between 3 to 12 years old. This position is only available at Langley Hotel Le Petit Prince.
As a ski technician you will work at Langley’s ski rental at Langley Hotel Tignes 2100 or Langley Hotel Le Petit Prince. At Langley we operate our own ski rentals and workshops with a wide range of selected ski equipment. You will help our guests find the right equipment regardless if they are beginners or professional skiers. You will also work with preparation and repair of skis.
Secure good transport in the French alps during the season for our guest and your colleges. Enjoy beautiful surroundings driving safely between our destinations and hotels. You will be allocated to one specific hotel but have the chance to visit them all.
Secure the best start and end of the day for our guest as a waiter. Food and beverage is a very important part of Langleys concept. We are daily serving our guest a generous breakfast buffet and a set 2- or 3 course dinner. On top of this you can find a popular à la carte lunch and dinner at Langley Ski Lodge Victors, Langley Hotel Tango and Langley Hotel Tignes 2100. We are hiring from entry level to manager position to all of our hotels in the French Alps and to Langley Ski Lodge Rendlhof in St Anton.
Everyone knows that when being on a holiday food is the most important part! Considering the different kind of hotels, we have possibilities for everyone. Do you want to take your first step or next? Busy à la carte restaurant or work with a set 3 course menu? All of our hotels are serving a generous breakfast buffet and a 2-or 3 course weekly menu. At Langley Ski Lodge Victors, Langley Hotel Tango and Langley Hotel Tignes 2100 the restaurants serve a popular à la carte on top of this for lunch and dinner. We are hiring from entry position to kitchen managers.
As an activity leader you will spend your days at work exploring the destination together with our guests. Your work is very flexible, and your schedule is varied. Driving license is needed. French is required for this position.

BAR

Food and beverage is a very important part of Langleys concept. Socialize and deliver top service in a cosy lounge bar at Langley Ski Lodge La Vieille Ferme, work under high pressure during a busy after ski at Langley Hotel Gustavia or make sure to create dinners that becomes nights to never forget at Langley Ski Lodge Victors! Our bars have different kinds of focus and atmosphere. What suits you? We are hiring bartenders with experience, bar backs who wants to gain knowledge and bar managers who can lead the team. 

When working as a receptionist you are daily fronting our guests to help them with their questions and you are the centre of information at the hotel. You can work either day or night. Day receptionist is available at all of our hotels. At Langley Hotel Tignes 2100, Langley Hotel Tango, Langley Hotel Le Petit Prince and Langley Hotel Gustavia you have the chance to work as a night receptionist.
The Caribbean 2021/2022

GUADELOUPE TEAM WINTER 2021/2022

Langley Resort Fort Royal is a beautiful resort allocated in Guadeloupe, the Caribbean Sea. The season runs from the middle of October until the end of April.  Working a season in Guadeloupe gives you the opportunity to explore the real culture of Caribbean. Between your shift you can spend your time lying on the beach, diving, surfing or discovering the amazing island and surroundings.

When working as a receptionist you are daily fronting our guests to help them with their questions and you are the centre of information at the hotel. At Langley Resort Fort Royal, you can work either as a day receptionist or a night receptionist. Working as a receptionist requires speaking French.
As an activity leader you will spend your days at work exploring the Island together with our guest. Your work is very flexible, and your schedule is variant. Driving license is needed.
Make memories for our youngest guests. As a Kids club leader, you are responsible for the kids filling up their days with outdoor adventures, movie nights and play full environment. Kids Club offers a wide range of activities for kids from 3 to 12 years old.
Keep our guest activated! At Langley Resort Fort Royal, we have one position as a tennis trainer. You will have lessons with both our youngest and oldest guest – beginners as advanced. Our tennis courts were renovated in 2013 with state of the art surface “Play it Top sand” which is a carpet-like surface that is covered with ceramic sand, which gives you a clay-like surface, but without the bad bounces and the “slippery when wet” situations.
Activate, instruct and secure a safe environment for our guests when having activities on the sea. Down by the beach you’ll find our sail & surf center where you have different types of sailing boats, windsurfing equipment, kayaks, jet-skis and stand-up paddle boards at your disposal.
Secure the best start and end of the day for our guest as a restaurant team member. Langley Resort Fort Royal serves a breakfast buffet, al a carte lunch and dinner buffet on daily basis. The restaurant also hosts special events and conferences. During your shifts you will have a magnificent view over the Caribbean sea.
Having the Caribbean Sea as a view when serving drinks is a quite good option. Langley Resort Fort Royal have two bars. One in the restaurant serving drinks during service and one at the beach. The Kawann Beach Bar, with its casual atmosphere, offers Caribbean drinks and cocktails, pizzas, salads and other snacks from 10am until midnight.
