Head Chef to Corsica
Langley Resort Napoléon Bonaparte, 160 rooms, is a pompous resort in the picturesque village of Ile Rousse on the beautiful island Corsica. It is located right by the beach, in the center of town. Now we are looking for our next dedicated kitchen manager who can take on the role of managing our great international kitchen team, proximate 10 people, during the summer season.
The restaurant at Napoleon Bonaparte serves international cuisine with local influences for breakfast and dinner. We strive to use local products as much as possible to reduce our impact on the environment. In our restaurant we serve our rich breakfast as well as our three-course dinners in the evening. The meals are an exotic blend of Corsican, French and Scandinavian cuisine. In our pool bar we offer lunch which is a variety of cold and hot options.
For this position we are looking for someone who is driven by working with a high and consistent quality that thrives to lead and inspire your colleges. Moreover, you need to be curious and have a personal interest in raw material, wine and dining. This position is demanding a high presence on site during service hours so you need to be both professional & flexible in your role as the manager.
Start date: As soon as possible
Salary: 3000-4500 euro gross/month depending on your experience, seasonal or permanent contract possible
